Not legal advice. No template is compliant out of the box. A SWMS has to be made site-specific with the workers doing the job before work starts. SWMS Kit is not a regulator.

Ships as two files: Model WHS (NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, ACT, NT, WA) and a Victorian OHS version. Energised electrical work, and often powered mobile plant. Model (k) and (o). Victorian 7 and 4. Not compliant until you make it specific to the site with the workers doing the work.

What the task table covers

  • Plan the temporary supply. Overloaded leads, unprotected outlets, leads through water
  • Install and alter site wiring. Live work because the site 'cannot lose power', contact with plant
  • Inspect before each use. Damaged sheath, missing RCD, home-made joints
  • Remove the temporary installation. Left live after the job, or removed while someone is still using it
